外觀
具有單裂的唇瓣，可作為與 Vanda 屬區別的特徵之一；具細長且花朵密集的花序。
原生地
原生於婆羅洲、緬甸、泰國、馬來半島、寮國、柬埔寨、越南、中國海南及菲律賓；整體屬東南亞至海南一帶。
光照
間接光，避免以 Vanda 屬常見的較直接光照方式栽培。
澆水
生長期間供水宜維持均勻。
介質
適合木條籃栽培，使用很少或不使用栽培介質，使粗壯肉質根可在籃中伸展。
冷知識
- Rhynchostylis gigantea 在 TaiCOL 被列為接受名、物種階級；臺灣紀錄為非特有且屬栽培外來類型。
- 英文資料將 Rhynchostylis 類群俗稱為 foxtail orchids，名稱與其細長、花朵密集的花序外觀有關。
- 來源記載本種在印度阿薩姆邦稱為 kopouful，並稱其為該邦的邦花。
